Monoprice Select Mini SD Card Extender Holder

I got sick of ferrying the micro SD card back and forth and having to keep track of the micro SD card adapter between prints so I designed this bracket to hold a micro SD card extender adapter cable https://amzn.to/3heRM3W

Print Settings

Printer:

Monoprice Select Mini

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.175 to 0.306

Infill:

20

Post-Printing

Installation

I designed this to work with on the left side of the printer which gives it more clearance, doesn't interfere with X gantry support systems, and allows for routing the ribbon cable through the machine. You can see in the pictures how I routed the cable beneath the side plate, which has enough clearance for the cable to still slide freely and not cause any damage. Uses existing screws.
Designed to work with: https://amzn.to/3heRM3W

When routing the ribbon cable be sure to give it 1 half turn so that the micro-SD adapter part comes out the other side upside down and is a simple, single turn into the port.

Note: If you'd like to install this piece on the opposite side mirror the part in your slicer, it is not symmetrical and there isn't enough clearance at the base of the printer if its not mirrored before printing.

Category: 3D Printer Accessories
