The hinge mount on the base hole is 0.5mm larger in diameter than the cover, providing a little room for the hinge pin of your choice to slip over smoothly, although some fiddling may be required depending on the quality of your printer. Edit: Version 2 of the LCD Cover is thinner and has stops to prevent the cover from pressing against the touch screen. I didn't expect the wide lid to register on a resistive touchscreen, but it had caused a few prints to cancel themselves after putting the lid down. This revised cover should prevent that from happening. The standard base will still work with this updated cover. Additionally, the handle has been "beefed up" as it seemed a bit thin and prone to breaking if hit. Version 3 is untested and may not function as intended...
