Monoprice Select Mini MK8 (creality style) extruder spacer
thingiverse
I recently purchased this Mk8 extruder for my Mini v2, a printer known to thrive with Creality-recommended parts. This Mk8 extruder is touted as an upgrade for printing flexibles and I decided to give it a try despite its intended purpose. When I attempted to assemble it using the stock extruder gear and a 4x10x4 bearing, I encountered a major issue - the filament hole was positioned too low for the filament to run smoothly through the channel of the extruder gear. Initially, I used some washers as a makeshift solution while designing this custom spacer plate to bridge the gap. The spacer plate is 1.5mm thick and perfectly aligns the hole vertically. I've included iges and f3d files for anyone who wants to adjust the thickness of the spacer plate.
