Monoprice Select Mini "Heating indication by LED"

Just a simple electronic upgrade. On my Sidewinder X1, I always see the nozzle and heatbed temperature displayed on the TFT screen, but I added two LEDs to show if heating is working. Now that I have my Monoprice, it sometimes stops heating due to firmware issues or other unknown problems. However, I've added two more LEDs here to display the status of the heatbed and nozzle at all times. Each LED has a 1kOhm 1/4W resistor on one pin - it doesn't matter which pin. Two thin wires connect each LED to the mainboard's heatbed and hotend connectors, as shown in the picture (pdf). I soldered these wires below the board directly onto the contacts of the connectors. Check the + and - signs carefully. A common +12V conductor track leads from there to a fan connector on the other side of the board. You'll see that this common track is connected to +12V, which can be verified by looking at the fan connector with its two black and red wires. The red one is +12V and it's connected to the conductor track leading to the heating connectors. Take a look at the attached video showing my working LEDs and workshop setup: https://youtu.be/HWSyQhpsLa4
