My first upload, created with TinkerCAD, so I'm confident it can be improved upon! I faced difficulties with the original design as it would crack when attempting to attach a standard bowden connector. To resolve this issue, I simply drilled out the extruder top and overlaid a threaded cap. The settings listed are optimized for PLA prints, but for me, this design seems remarkably robust until a suitable extruder replacement is found.
