Monoprice MP Select Mini V2 LED Unit
thingiverse
I aimed to create a compact LED mounting bracket that would snugly fit around the fan, while still providing sufficient illumination for the initial print layer to be visible. This bracket is specifically designed to accommodate two 5mm LEDs on either arm cup, allowing for even lighting. Using Onshape as my CAD software, I carefully crafted the bracket's design. Once complete, I imported it into Cura for slicing purposes. The resulting model was then printed with precision. Upon completion of the print, I wired the LED lights in parallel using two 88-ohm resistors to regulate their output. Since these LEDs are powered by a standard 3-cell AA battery holder supplying 1.5V, I opted not to hardwire them into the printer's circuitry. Instead, this solution provides an easy and efficient way to power my LEDs. As this is my first upload on this platform, I'm open to any questions or suggestions you might have regarding my design or implementation.
