This replacement fan shroud for Monoprice Select Mini printers offers superior cooling to printed parts and heat break, making room for the mounting of a 40mm fan. Designed specifically to work with m4 bolts, this model ensures that any 40mm fan can be securely fastened due to its four 4mm diameter screw holes. A complimentary STL file featuring a 3D printable bolt is included for users who lack the correct length. A clearance of approximately 1mm exists between the shroud's bottom and the print bed/printed part. The consistent mounting system ensures this gap remains stable across all users. Easier to install than the stock shroud, this design still employs retaining springs for secure fastening. The tabs are slightly more accessible, and a flat piece at the top keeps the assembly in place after attaching the first spring. This model remains a work in progress and welcomes comments on potential improvements as well as any questions users may have.
