Monoprice Mini Select V2 Hotend Micro Swiss Upgrade

This allows for swapping out the factory hotend directly with the Micro Swiss hotend. The Micro Swiss hotend performs perfectly, whereas myself and others I know have encountered numerous issues with the Monoprice factory hotend. No new hardware is required. Simply print the backplate with supports oriented upwards, while the faceplate doesn't need supports but must be printed with columns facing up as well. Remove the old hotend carefully, taking care not to damage the heater and thermistor wires, which will still be used. Place the Micro Swiss hotend between two printed halves, then insert it into the factory carriage. You might need to lightly sand or press firmly to achieve a proper fit. I recommend printing in ABS or a higher-temperature material due to the nature of a hotend, although my first print was done in PLA and is still working flawlessly weeks later. I've included Solidworks 2018 design files for anyone interested in making adjustments. Additionally, I have a version that works with the factory CR-10 style hotend. Enjoy smooth prints!
