MonoPrice Mini - E3Dv6 Mount with 40mm print cooling fan
thingiverse
This is my 4th attempt to attach a fan to the hot end of my modified Monoprice Select Mini. It's an open design, less effective than ducted systems but more forgiving in terms of tolerances. I've included a .step file if you want to modify it - please let me know if you do. I'm eager to see your work. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1000 Infill: 50% Notes: I printed this in PET-G, and ABS should also work fine. PLA is iffy due to the proximity of the bottom back plate to the hot end, which may result in warping. Post-Printing: Extra parts: 2 - m3 x 20 plus nuts for the back plate 7 - #6-32 x 1 in plus nuts for all other parts (As I'm based in the US, metric screws are expensive and hard to find. The #6 is just slightly larger than a 3mm screw, so m3's should be suitable for everyone else) 1 - 40mm fan
