After installing an E3D V6 head in my MP Mini, I noticed that the space available for airflow across the heatsink was extremely limited. The fan's backwash was palpable, clearly indicating that air was not flowing freely. This design is a remake of a 40mm fan duct, but unfortunately, I couldn't locate the original source. Despite having printed numerous ducts in the past, none have fit my E3D V6 clone as seamlessly as this one does. The design's excellence and printing performance are noteworthy, requiring no supports or other modifications. To enable more airflow across the heatsink and out its sides, I created two revised designs with exhaust ports on the sides. One version features 3mm circular holes, while the other boasts a 3x15mm rectangular opening. These modifications allow users to employ the popular E3D mounts for their MP Mini while ensuring an abundance of airflow across the heatsink. I printed these ducts in PLA with 100% infill and have encountered no issues during heating up to 220°C. A 12V, 40x30mm fan running on a mere 5V produces remarkably quiet and cool operation.
