I made a simple cover for them, which slips in underneath the machine and easily into place, taking only seconds to apply. The lcd display, as well as the blue ring around the button at night, is pretty bright, so I came up with this solution. For the button, I'm using an extended button adapter, combined with the original button, allowing it to clear the bed when moving. This way, you can see in my photos that there's an internal ring inside to hold onto the button and an outer ring to go flush over the blue light ring, effectively eliminating 100% of the light output.
