I finished modifying my mini-delta! This is my third printer, with my other current printer being an original Prusa i3 Mk2. I bought the mini-delta due to its low cost and my desire to have a delta type printer. Frustrated with the lack of a power button (hot plugging directly to the printer causes problems), loud printing, and the PITA micro-SD, I decided to make some upgrades, all of which are warranty-friendly. Updates: 1. Extended legs (creating more space for stuff and improving airflow) 2. Snap-in sidewalls for expansion space 3. New bottom cover with a finned fan mount, better airflow, and lower sound level 4. A/C converter pocket & wire managers 5. Raspberry PI Zero mount (wireless printing) 6. Full-size SD card 7. LED lighting with switched power 8. Cable management I used my Prusa mk2 original to print these parts using PETG. This update makes the fan-related noise a bit less noisy, and the motor movement noise is slightly reduced as well.
