I made a few minor adjustments to the 'Flextruder' Malyan M200 Flexible Filament Extruder. My changes are: The body of the extruder was mirrored; the MP10 is designed for right-handed operation. To achieve this, I needed to make additional modifications: Adding a clamp with an internal rib was essential. However, you must exercise caution when tightening it, as it can compress the PTFE tube if done too firmly. In reality, a standard extruder with a threaded John Guest fitting is more reliable (with more parts available). During the COVID-19 pandemic, Monoprice's non-standard John Guest fitting failed on my printer, bringing operations to a standstill. With a second printer at hand, I reversed the base extruder to suit the MP10 and printed this part to get back up and running. To accommodate the stock Monoprice MP10 extruder 'arm', I modified the base. A small screw on the underside was causing an obstruction, so I created a large clearance area on the plate. Furthermore, the spring holder's side ribs were slightly reduced in size to allow for more flexibility when loosening them. Lastly, the filament holes did not align properly, so I recessed the plate under the mounting screw. This allowed me to insert a 3mm metal washer underneath it, enabling easier pivoting and accurate hole alignment.
