This is a mounting bracket designed to hold the LCD in place when the main case is removed. It's engineered to slide smoothly under the front lip of the device only if you have the support brackets installed, which are specifically intended to accommodate an 8.5mm gap. Please note that this design assumes you already have a Z-brace installed. In order for this bracket to function correctly, there needs to be a specific gap between the table and the cross-brace. I opted to purchase a 3-foot, 10-pin cable at a cost of less than $10 for two units.
