This is a straightforward extended spool holder designed for the Monoprice Ultimate 3D printer to accommodate larger filament spools, such as Monoprice's branded 1 kg filaments. The outer diameter of this holder is carefully crafted to be small enough to also work well with smaller spool diameters. In fact, it should function just fine on a Wanhao Duplicator 6 as well. I printed the holder using Cura with a shell thickness of 1.6 and a fill density of 50% using common PLA filament, and I'm pleased to report that it feels very secure.
