Monoprice Maker Select V2 Spool Holder Extension (and other Wanhao Duplicator i3 Clones with the same spool holder)

For: Monoprice maker select V2, Wanhao duplicator i3 and other clones with the same spool holder. I crafted this spool holder extension to be a straightforward solution to accommodate larger spools of filament that won't fit on standard holders. The rounded design lets the spool rotate smoothly with minimal friction. One of the greatest advantages of this spool holder is its effortless installation. Simply slide it over the original holder and it clicks into place - no tools required! This spool holder extension will securely hold spools up to 83mm wide. I may consider creating a longer version in the future, but for now, this one works perfectly with every spool I've encountered so far. I hope you enjoy this modification just as much as I do. TIP: Adding a small amount of high-viscosity lubricant to any non-rotating spool holder is an excellent way to further reduce friction. I personally use Super Lube's Multi-Purpose Synthetic oil.
