Monoprice Maker Select Plus Z extension (348mm)

This is the Z height extension for Maker Select Plus (Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus). These brackets add another 168mm to original 180mm, so the maximum Z height can now reach up to 348mm. In addition to these brackets, you will need the following items to complete the modification. - New lead screws and smooth rods of 500mm are required. - The original Flat Ribbon Cable 16pin needs to be replaced with a longer one; I found a 148cm cable that was more than enough. - An extension to the Y-axis motor 6pin cable is also necessary. - Extra longer M3 bolts and nuts will be needed. After assembling all the parts, you must re-compile the firmware for the printer by replacing 180mm in Z_MAX_POS of Configuration.h with 325mm (or higher). In the picture, I used some washers with bolts due to a slight design error; however, the STL files that I uploaded here are the corrected version, so you should not need any additional components. With this modification, it feels like I have a new printer at my disposal. I am now comfortably able to print taller objects and I am very satisfied with the results.
