Monoprice maker select plus washers for bed adjustment
thingiverse
I'm on my fifth Monoprice Maker Select and the bed leveling is still a challenge. The z stop always seems to be out of alignment, forcing me to back off the screws so far they almost fall off. So, I decided to use an insulated washer and add a 0.1 washer to the base, then leveled the x axis with two CD cases. This allowed me to level the bed in just three minutes and start printing within fifteen. This was by far the quickest setup I've ever done. Note: You'll also need to print the heat bed spring washer. Place either 0.05 or 0.1 millimeter under the spring washer, I used 0.1 mm. Print two at a time; you don't have to do all four at once. It's astonishing how quickly it is to level after struggling with counter screws for days. Edit: - I created my own custom cupped washer in the MP washer file.
