Monoprice delta mini plexi Hinged Front Mod

I'm testing out a remix of biohazard3k's design. I love the original, but the removable front panel thing doesn't sit right with me - it feels like a hassle to replace and reattach every time you need to access the print bed. So, I've come up with my own take on a hinged front panel that should make things easier. To open or close the panel, just match the top and bottom parts, so you can choose whether it swings left or right. There are spaces for 6mm x 3mm round rare earth magnets to keep everything shut tight. I've also added slots inside the clips for a strip of rubber or neoprene to seal when the door is closed. After double-checking my measurements, I'm pretty confident that the clips will fit just right - but if you print this out and find any issues, please let me know what needs tweaking. Also, keep in mind that you'll need some weatherstripping to make it all work smoothly. By the way, I've uploaded a new version of the design with a fully assembled door model - it should help iron out some of the kinks. A few things to note: if you could suggest any improvements, that'd be great; and just so I don't forget later, you can get 1/8" (3.65mm) sheets of silicone online for under $10 USD per 12"x12" (300mmx300mm). Oh, and this design does widen the print bed by about 11.4mm - I'll confirm that before I finalize it. Update: I've swapped out the old design with the finished one. It might be a few days before I have time to polish everything up and make sure all the measurements are spot on. New update: I've uploaded the new versions of the parts, along with some extra info on what you'll need for assembly - specifically, 3mm filament in the same material as your prints, epoxy or silicone glue to attach silicone seals around the edges, and a sheet of silicone about 12"x12"x1/8" (300mmx300mmx3.3mm). You'll also need some 9"x 9 3/8"x 3/16" plexiglass, plus four 6mm diameter x 3mm Neodymium magnets. Once I've tested the small print bed version, I'll take away the "work in progress" label. Oh, and don't forget to download the L/R files from the original set of files! Update: I've deleted the small print bed version - it just won't fit on the MPMD bed the way I divided up the parts. It's easier for everyone if we start fresh with a new design that works better. If you have a printer that can handle the large bed version, go ahead and give it a try - I'm confident I can make things work, but I might need to switch to 3-4 parts on the semicircle-ish pieces instead of two. Also, I just caught an error that makes the Inside 1 and 2 parts not slice properly. It's a quick fix, though - if you find any other issues with the design or have questions, please let me know. And don't worry about being kind - I'm still learning the ropes! Update: The small print bed version is back up!
