Monopoly Gamer Replacement Coins
thingiverse
I started designing a custom coin with a unique twist, using a design from Thingiverse, possibly https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1275792, as my starting point. However, I wasn't satisfied with how the numbers extended all the way through. To overcome this challenge, I created a recess near the edge of the coin and placed the numbers in recessed areas. My goal was to design coins that would be visible from both sides without requiring support for the bottom side. After some experimentation, I came up with a design that fits the Mario theme perfectly, matching the style of the Monopoly Gamer game. The size of my custom coins is remarkably close to the cardboard coins included in the Monopoly Gamer game. The set consists of 50 one-dollar coins and 40 five-dollar coins, along with a ten-dollar coin, which I added because even stacks of fives can be overwhelming at times. Update: I've recently created a new addition to the series – a custom one-dollar coin featuring a wider numeral to better match the aesthetic of its companions.
