Monopoly Game Board

A game of Monopoly has always been a thrilling adventure. Now, it's bigger than ever before! This enormous alternative game board was built using FlexMesh to bring an exciting new level of excitement to the game. To make it even more immersive, some additional FlexMesh shapes were added to enable rotation of the middle section by 45 degrees. The design also includes specially crafted houses and hotel pieces that stay firmly in place thanks to strategically designed pegs. I'm eager to see the incredible player tokens that you come up with. Let's get ready for a game-changer! Instructions The board shown here was printed in ABS over several weeks using multiple FlashForge printers running at maximum capacity. It is estimated that approximately 4 kilograms of filament were used, assuming an 80% job success rate (results may vary). This enormous game board consists of around 3,750 FlexMesh pieces (including houses and hotels) measuring out to be about 875mm (~3 feet) on each side. However, the diagonal center portion accounts for approximately 60% of those pieces, allowing players to create the main area of play along with houses and hotels by snapping together around 1,500 pieces of various colors. Estimated print time is approximately 400 hours, with around 225 of those being spent on the optional inner board. Note: To build this Thing, you will also need the shapes included in the FlexMesh and Dice designs. Make sure to download them as well.
