MONOPOD- SLIDER
thingiverse
I'd love to share a custom slider design I created some time ago. It features two rods (each 8mm in diameter) that fit snugly together at their ends without any gap in between. In the middle section, a small rail is placed that can primarily hold a smartphone. It's specifically designed for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 (up to 8.3mm thickness). One variation of it is meant to accommodate a GoPro or another action camera. The shorter the rods are, the less movement there will be and more stable the slider will be when making videos. The design is printed in Pla Gold from http://a3dp.es/. I hope you like it, want to make it, and let me know how it turns out!
