Monoplane / Airplane K. E. Tsiolkovsky
sketchfab
Tsiolkovsky's vision was to craft an aircraft with a robust metal skeleton. In the seminal article "An Airplane or a Birdlike (Aircraft) Flying Machine" published in 1894, detailed descriptions and meticulous drawings of a monoplane are presented, showcasing its innovative design and aerodynamics that eerily foreshadowed the construction of aircraft 15 to 18 years later. The wings of an Aviation Airplane boast a substantial profile with a curved leading edge, while the fuselage is sleekly streamlined. However, Tsiolkovsky's tireless efforts on both the airplane and airship projects failed to garner recognition from Russia's scientific elite, leaving his subsequent research without financial or moral backing. In 1914, he unveiled his cutting-edge all-metal dirigible models at the Aeronautics Congress in St. Petersburg but received a lukewarm reception.\nCreate in 3ds MAX\nTextured in Substance Painter
