"Monolith" Stand for Nintendo GameCube Controller

<p>My version of GameCube controller stand. It utilizes the unique center "hole" in the controller design for a monolith design.</p> <p>Velcro on the controller cord near the plug end is recommended so you can wind the cable into a loop and put it through the pillar before docking the controller itself. This enables a hassle-free fast docking/releasing action.</p> <p>I've also designed a few logo caps that can go into the triangular hole on the tip of the stand for a bit of personalization. They are optional.</p> <p>Combine this with my <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4735302">GameCube stand</a> to make your console presentation a bit more interesting.</p> <p>** A wall mount version will come later for you wall mount aficionados*</p> <h3>Printing</h3> <p>Printing is simple - print everything with no support and upright.</p> <p class="detail-image"><img src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/8d/6d/13/8d/72/QQ20211219-151015.jpg"/></p> <div><p>For the stand itself - try to land the Z seam onto the vertical ridge of the pillar instead of on the back for better visuals.</p></div> <p class="detail-image"><img src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/90/f6/29/fb/bf/QQ20211219-144104.jpg"/></p> <div><p>The logo cap models has taken color segmentation into consideration so you could swap filament colors to achieve multi-color printing, as demonstrated in the photos.</p></div> Category: Video Games
