The diminutive sculpture crafted from limestone with a vibrantly colored frame measures roughly 5.3 x 6.5 x 2.5 cm and originates from ancient Egypt's New Kingdom, specifically during the time period of approximately 1550-1069 BC, likely falling within the confines of the 19th dynasty (circa 1295 -1186 BC). The Classical Archaeological Institute has custody of this artifact. A seated monkey, positioned in a scene where it is guiding one of the nuts from its frontward bag to its mouth, currently occupies the sculpture's focal point. Notably, an opening between the animal and the nut bag has been skillfully pierced.
