I've always yearned for gymnastic rings, but they're not budget-friendly, so I created these as a more affordable alternative. I'm absolutely smitten with the surface texture that 3D printing yields. At 100% scale, my design measures 27mm, mirroring the dimensions of real gymnastic rings, yet an 80% scale is perfect for kids. When securing the rope to the eyelet, I strongly advise using a larger rope to ensure a secure hold. Metal hooks can cause point loads that may damage the printed material. Despite hanging my entire weight (185 pounds) from a single 80% scale ring, I haven't experienced even a single crack. Please exercise caution when using 3D-printed materials, as durability is highly dependent on slice settings and printer quality. If you choose to proceed with printing these designs, please verify your print's strength before relying on it for support.
