Monkey Fist Jig Remix

I liked the original design in how simple this was to print the base, versus other designs for a paracord monkey fist jig, but the dowels were not easily printable on their sides as a pure cylinder (the orientation you want to print for strength/durability under bending moment load). So, I modified the dowel design so you can print it on it's side and still install a short "peg" section into the holes. I also increased the length to 137mm total length and added a second dowel option that's 174mm and is symmetric, so you could have two jig plates to hold the dowels, one on each side, after inserting you ball into the jig. Since I went to the trouble already, I also redesigned the based to include 2.5", 1.25", and 1" in addition to the 2.25", 2", 1.75", and 1.5" options. I also made it round to reduce print time eliminate the chance of corners peeling away from build plate. Lastly, I made the holes "through-holes" so there's more meat to install the peg as well as if you need to tap them out if they are too snug. I also added some labels for fun, although probably not necessary. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Print Settings No need for supports or brim. I'd use 3 walls on the jig at a minimum for durability. I'd use 10 walls for the dowel so it's solid (should be about 40min print per dowel for the long/symmetric version).
