Monkee Mods/Colonel Wasp Firefly plunger replacement (longshot O-ring)
thingiverse
The plunger head for my Firefly broke... not too surprising looking at reviews. This plunger will last however. This requires a threaded rod, two nuts, and craft foam sheet. These exact parts can be found at Ace Hardware with the item numbers being 44827-G, 683-A, H422011. Print these parts with 4 walls and 80% infill. This uses the Nerf Longshot O-ring so hopefully that's helpful for ones building this. Build is straight forward, use threadlock. The tail might need to be sanded down, I found this helpful with mine. Be careful as to not squeeze the plunger parts too hard and deform Plunger 2. Also don't worry about the plate under plunger 2, it wont print since its 0 thickness, its only there to fix a glitch with the part resizing to 89cm. IMPORTANT: Use 2mm of craft foam as a cushion for the plunger head. I cut out two "O"s of a 1mm craft foam sheet, those you might find at Michaels, and glued them on the front of the plunger head with CA glue. Not doing so will result in the plunger not going far back enough to catch. You may need electrical tape to get the seal right. Sorry for no finished pictures of the plunger, its in the blaster already and its a pain to take it apart.
