COMEX Marine and Innovation Departments conduct comprehensive underwater surveys beyond 50 meters depth in the French Calanques National Park, located off the coast of Marseille. To monitor red coral (Corallium rubrum) populations effectively, a remotely operated vehicle equipped with the ORUS3D system is utilized to explore areas not easily accessible by humans. The team focuses on a rocky area colonized by deep-sea fauna in Cassidaigne canyon at 200 meters depth.
