COMEX Marine and Innovation Departments led a monitoring effort focused on Corallium rubrum populations in the French Calanques National Park, located off the coast of Marseille. A remotely operated vehicle (ROV) equipped with an ORUS3D system was used to conduct underwater surveys beyond 50 meters in depth. The research targeted rock formations colonized by deep-sea fauna situated within Cassidaigne canyon at a depth of 200 meters.
