Monitor Wallmount with XYZ Movement
thingiverse
I initially developed a project, but once it reached usability, I failed to complete it. It's a versatile monitor support designed for movement in all three dimensions (XYZ), enhancing workspace flexibility. To achieve smooth movement along the Y axis, a pantographic wall mount is required. I'm currently working on an improved model with fewer parts and reduced plastic usage. The design necessitates a 5/16 threaded rod and a 1/2 inch aluminum bar, which can be printed according to specified sizes. The distance between the wall screws measures approximately 18 inches (45 cm). These mounts have successfully supported my two monitors (a Benq 24-inch and an AOC 21-inch model) without issues for about five years now. A custom aluminum frame was created to accommodate the Benq monitor, as it lacked a VESA mount. The frame was designed to fit into the existing feet hole.
