Monitor Riser adapter for Ikea Burhult shelf
prusaprinters

The monitor riser I was given at my workplace was a bit too high for my monitor, so I decided to get the cheapest Ikea Burhult shelf (the cheapest I found) and make some adapters that insert into the shelf by pressure, no screws needed.

I wanted to make it enough tight to stop it from moving much, but also to be able to disassemble it easily. I recommend printing a test version to test the fit first so you can adjust later.

I printed it with a .8 nozzle at 0.4 layer height, and 15% infill and a single perimeter, but for a .4 nozzle 2 perimeters and low infill will do, it's quite sturdy. Print without support, laying flat.

I attached the freecad project also, so If you want to modify the tolerances to your printer, go ahead. :)

Let me know if you have any issues, I will adjust this page accordingly.

https://www.ikea.com/es/es/p/burhult-balda-blanco-80400042/ (Spanish Ikea site for the shelf)

Size of the shelf:

width: 59 cm

depth: 20 cm

thickness: 1.5 cm
