I've got the USS Enterprise Ship model with lights and sound right on my desk, but the base just takes up too much space. So I whipped up a custom monitor mount to hold it instead. This nifty little thing will work with any of the Star Trek ships that use the 14mm mount and a monitor with a bezel width of 18-25mm - just swap in your own ship and you're good to go! Feel free to modify the design to fit your unique monitor setup, and I've got it mounted on top where I can admire it and easily flip the switch for lights and sounds.
