Monitor LED strip support

Monitor LED strip support

This is a LED strip support for the monitor, in case you don't want to glue it directly to the monitor (adhesive band is not that good at sticking for long). It's made of multiple parts that need to be assembled before adding the led strip, and it's designed for the 5050 led dimension. I designed it for my 2m strip, but turned out a bit longer, so it can easily fit a 2.5m or even longer strip. Steps: - mount the central holder to the monitor using 4x M3 screws and nuts. - assemble the top and bottom corners for each side using the single and double connectors - assemble the right side and left side to the central holder by sliding each branch in it's holder. Please note that the top and bottom are not symmetric, so they cannot be reversed. Just measure them before mounting the central holder. - insert the led strip, start from the end (opposite the arrows in the picture) and go to the USB connector, it's sized to fit the strip tight so you don't need to stick it to the support. The sides are about 35cm long each and have separate canals so the strip doesn't cover itself but covers the whole area. I would recommend using a 3m strip, the waterproof silicone one is more durable, and the remaining bit just stick it to the holder facing away from the monitor using some plastic zip ties. I printed it in PLA, 15% infill.
