I was sick of having my laptop hogging all the space on my desk. Decided to take action and reclaim some of that real estate for myself. With this versatile stand, you can free up valuable desktop space while creating an interesting visual dynamic at the same time. You can use it with your laptop either closed or open as a secondary display. In my case, I'm utilizing a 2014 MacBook Pro plugged into an eGPU featuring a GTX 1060 with 6GB of RAM and a 24-inch 1080p monitor running at 75Hz. To prevent the laptop from sliding or moving around, I used four rubber feet. Make sure to print this mount on its side, ensuring that the layer lines run opposite to the joints. This will eliminate the need for any supports during printing. For optimal results, print slowly and at a high temperature to achieve strong layer adhesion, resulting in a rock-solid mount. Note: The mount depicted is an older version; I have since updated the files to provide a tighter fit with the correct angle. This mount should accommodate many laptops of similar size.
