Monitor Case For 10'' Netbook Screen (N101L6-L0D)

This is a portable monitor made out of a screen from a broken netbook and a driver board I bought from eBay a few years ago.

Print instructions

The model of the netbook screen I used was N101L6-L0D and the particular driver board that I used can be found here. However, the monitor case was designed on FreeCAD and I also share the source fcstd file, so you can easily modify my design to fit your particular screen and driver board.

Because the width of the case is exactly 250mm a properly leveled bed and an excellent build plate adhesion is absolutely essential, otherwise you may end up with warping at the corners of the print.

I suggest printing this in PETG rather than PLA because depending the screen and the driver board you have the inside of the case could potentially get quite warm.

The two pieces of the case fit together using M5 bolts without the use of any nuts. I also used a thread screw tap for creating the threads in the holes but that's probably not that necessary. You will also need 8 M2 bolts and nuts for mounting the screen and button board, as well as 4 M3 bolts and nuts for the driver board.
