Monitor camera mount - Tripod screw
thingiverse
This design is created to secure a camera which utilizes a standard 1/4-20 UNC thread mount attached to a PC monitor (approximately 60mm in depth). The mount hooks over the front bezel of the monitor and hangs from the back. The mount pivots forward and backward on a joint secured by two M4x40 bolts. This is tightened into place using two M4 nuts (preferably nylock nuts) captured in large hand-tightening knobs. This design also requires a standard 1/4-20 tripod screw, such as https://www.amazon.com/Smallrig-Threaded-Tripod-Monopod-Release/dp/B00R7AWP04, which serves to tilt the camera left and right. Originally designed to mount a SUB2r camera, this design includes a special top piece called 'CMM Top SUB2r' for that particular camera (it has a large hole in the base for the fan). To print this design, you will need: 1x 'Base', 1x 'Top' or 'Top SUB2r', and 2x 'Knob'. All parts are intended to be printed in their default orientation. The 'base' part requires some support material. I have also included STEP files of the components and the original Fusion 360 file for you to modify as needed if you wish. I haven't yet printed this design since it was created for someone else. If you require any slight changes, please let me know and I'll do my best to assist you as soon as possible.
