3ds Max 2010 utilizes V-Ray 2.40.03 to render fbm files without incorporating wool textures. A Mongolian fur rug in phiolet is set at a dimension of 240x150 cm. The max file includes geometry created by wool, allowing for rendering effects by deleting the geometry and applying a modifier. To achieve this, navigate to Rendering - Effects tab, click on Hair and Fur, and select mr prim mode below. System units are set in millimeters. For optimal results in Geometry Mode, translate the model into a proxy before rendering. Alternatively, switching to Effects Mode yields a more realistic outcome.
