I've finally designed something all by myself, and I'm really proud of it! I think it's turning out okay for a first timer like me. It took about two hours of fiddling around with shapes to get where I am today. But, to be honest, I have no idea what the finished product will look like because I don't even own a printer at this point in time. Maybe someone with access to printing equipment can give it a shot and share some photos with me? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it turns out great. The reason behind my design was pretty simple - I wanted to try making something 3D for the very first time, so I started with an easy concept: "a single solid piece twisted into itself". However, getting there was a whole different story. Instead of being able to bend shapes into a single piece, I ended up piecing together lots of separate boxes and experimenting with their properties until this final product came out. It's not perfect by any means, but I'm still pretty pleased!
