I broke the two arms loose so they could be printed individually, and I divided the main body into four sections since printing each half would take over 20 hours to complete. My goal is to keep print runs under 10 hours if possible, as getting stuck in the middle of a long print can be a major time-waster. To make assembly easier, I added holes and pins to the separate parts so they could be lined up precisely during reassembly. I reduced the size of the model by 30% before slicing it for printing to keep the finished product from being too large. The initial print was done in grey, but I later gave it a gold finish with paint - it still needs another coat for a complete look.
