Mona Lisa - da Vinci Color

This is my first print off the da Vinci Color beta unit. It was only fitting that the first print off the machine named after Leonardo da Vinci be his most famous painting, the Mona Lisa. The result is a little bit blurry but that mostly has to do with the lighting. The da Vinci Color is the first 2D inkjet FDM 3D printer. This machine uses CMYK ink and special ink-absorbing PLA filament. It works by accepting an OBJ file with its MTL file, then printing the physical layer first before printing the ink over that layer.
