I needed a larger printer than my Anet A8 for this project, so I loaded the design into meshmixer, where I carefully sliced it twice using a plane tool to flatten one end and create better curves. This also allowed me to separate the handle from the wand body, ensuring they would fit comfortably on my print bed. To add extra durability, I hollowed out both the wand and the handle, making them receptive to being filled with hot glue or Green Stuff epoxy resin. When reassembled, this design becomes solid and less prone to breaking. The pictures showcase the gluing process in action. Since I wanted the internal details of the model to be visible, I printed it in opaque mode. Additionally, for added strength at the joint between the handle and body, I embedded a metal needle (originally used as a nozzle cleaner) into the Green Stuff epoxy resin. Once the glue had set, I gently sanded the entire model using fine sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges or bumps. Next, I applied a light coat of Chaos Black spray paint to provide a solid base color for my project.
