MOLLE stencil for making "laser cut" molle with a knife
thingiverse
Simple molle stencil to create "laser cut" molle with a snap blade knife. Simply pull the knife in the direction of the arrows and cut out the molle. On the side there are 3 markings to line up the previous cuts and on the top there are 2 if you want to make larger molle panels. Important: If you plan on using multiple stencils at once and setting them side by side it wont work! The cutouts will be offset by 10mm! Only use one stencil at a time. For the last step you can either use a lighter or a soldering iron to go along the edges of the cordura to prevent fraying. You can also poke holes at the end of each cut with the soldering iron to make it look better. Keep your workplace well ventilated as burning/melting cordura creates toxic gases. Dont set your soldering iron temperature too hot if you can.
