Securely attach longer gear to your MOLLE platform with this retaining strap designed in the style of HSGI. This strap is specifically sized for five rows - three loops on the platform, two loops on the equipment. The strap features a retaining buckle and button for a snug fit. Print the Strap in stiff TPU material. Do not print the Pad as it's best to either laser-cut it directly into a strong fabric, leather, or reinforced vinyl; or print the Stencil and cut the material by hand with precision. This model also includes a two-loop web mounting pad, which allows it to screw directly into a holster or pouch for added MOLLE compatibility. Mounting holes are sized for 3/8" Chicago fasteners. If you're attaching equipment with integrated loops, you won't need the Pad. However, if your equipment doesn't have loops, the Pad will add them. To attach the Pad to the Strap, simply weave it onto the Strap while ensuring that the button is on the three-loop side of the Pad. The Strap can fit a Prusa mk2 or mk3 but it's recommended to print it flat against the bed. If the Strap doesn't fit your 3D printer, you can print the included Stencil; trace the Strap onto leather or another tough material; cut it out; and secure the tab with a snap or brad.
