Molle clip remix
thingiverse
I created this custom remix of the Nintendstroid clip, perfect for attaching larger or heavier items to two rows of molle. To make it more durable, I lengthened it so it can hold securely on molle vests and belts. As a bonus, it's small enough that I printed it on my trusty Monoprice Select Mini 3D printer. I used it as a glue-on adapter for various printed items, like molle pouches and belt keepers. The item is compact, so I opted to print multiple copies on my Monoprice Select Mini using the following settings: 0.1 layer height, which provides fine details but requires longer print times; 1.6 shell with 20% infill, ensuring a solid tongue and hinge while saving PLA for the base. To optimize strength, I printed the layers horizontally as indicated in the STL file. The rounded end can be printed without supports using the PLA material I chose. Here are my printer settings: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: Yes Supports: Doesn't matter Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 20% Notes: I use a brim to print these items, which helps create a smooth finish on the side resting on the bed.
