MOLLE Belt Clip
thingiverse
This clip is based on the MOLLE system, but scaled up by about 50% for added strength. Standard clips made with 1" scale models are often too weak to be reliable when printed in plastic. At this size, they can securely attach to a standard waist belt and carry substantial loads. These clips should fit onto standard nylon webbing of the correct width. I measured various belts and found that their widths vary significantly, typically ranging from 38mm (1.5") with a tolerance of +/- 4mm, and 3-5mm in thickness. For easy attachment and removal, it's essential to match these measures to the design, so I've provided three different widths. The clip features a large bolt mounting hole (8mm diameter, 12mm head) and four screw holes (4mm recessed). This allows for standard 1/4" nuts and bolts to securely attach heavy gear such as camera stabilizers. The openings are slightly larger than the belt they're designed to accommodate. Available widths: - Small: 35mm - Medium: 39mm - Large: 44mm
