MOLEX chip carrier for DIP-28, 78802-0010, 50-39-5288, designed to simplify EPROM removal with ease and speed. This discontinued part has been replaced by a new version that still meets my needs. A picture shows two carriers side by side: one is a 3D printed version at the bottom, while the original part sits on top. Included are STL files for easy printing, as well as a Fusion 360 model to help you customize it to your requirements. MOLEX engineering drawings in PDF format provide valuable reference information. I carefully followed these designs, taking precise measurements of real-world units with calipers to ensure accuracy. I updated this part on May 11, 2018, to refine its design by thinning out the walls and improving the fit of the "square" end without requiring sanding.
