Instead, they serve as a reference for modeling terminal housings. The crimped end dimensions are approximated since actual size depends on wire gauge being crimped and the randomness of crimping.\r\n\r\nNote that Molex 0.093" terminals are designed to be removable from their housings but this can be unreliable, particularly with 1189 (female) terminals. As such, the provided housings fit the terminals too tightly for those terminals to be removed. The trade-off is that the terminals are held more solidly in place and it's easier to align the terminals while connecting male & female housings.\r\n\r\nMolex's data sheet indicates each terminal should require a minimum of 5 lbs force to unplug, which means a 10-pin housing requires 50 lbs of force to disconnect. To solve for this, each end of straight housings has an indentation designed to fit a flat screwdriver, for prying the connectors open.\r\n\r\nHole models "M" and "F" are included so you can model your own housings. These models are intended to be negated from a block of material, leaving a void in which a Molex terminal will fit. The hole models should extend 1mm past the material, on both top and bottom.\r\n\r\nBe cautious when working with these connectors. Even though the Molex 0.093" terminals are rated for 15 amps each, that rating does not increase linearly when multiple pins are crammed into a single connector. The actual rating of the provided connectors is unknown and should be researched before making a decision to use them.
