This mold is for laminating a propeller of: - 150mm diameter - 1.1 Pitch/Ratio - Chord 1/7 of diameter - Offset +10% - Larrabee optimized shape - Arc profile 6% - Variable thickness 0.2mm layers are taken from a stock with a wood plan 8 layers are used to build a core in a first stage. On a 2nd stage 4 layers of wood are added. Central axis is made from surgical Abbocath #16 needle 12hr Epoxy resin is added between layers, thin mylar separators are added to avoid wood gluing to the mold. 1mm wires act for aligners between the 2 mold sides. 4 office rubber bands are enought for compressing the propeller between the mold until epoxy is set. There is an F in the mold, it means Front!
