1st Photo=Caulking Tool, 2nd Photo=Assembled Mold (4 pieces) This tool is designed to allow you to caulk tiled surfaces without defects caused by grout lines. This tool skips over the grout lines with its unique shape. This tool has a 6mm side and a larger 8mm side so you can pick how big your grout lines should be. It's similar to the METEX Caulking Tool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAppNjIdqzw but instead of 45 degree angle, this is curved! This is a mold for the tool, you can use Sugru, OoGoo, or make your own silicone putty by combining 100% silicone caulking, corn starch, and food coloring (optional). Many videos exist on how to make the formula on Youtube. I typically make my putty mixture, then fill the mold sections throughly. I fill the bottom of the mold, then add the middle section, fill the middle, then fill the top then mash them together, the hole on the top relieves the excess silicone to be used for other projects. Screw together with cheap flat head screws (drywall screws work fine). Within 1-2 hours the silicone has cured and the mold can be disassembled. I don't need any mold release, the putty is already setup to release easily. just cut away the flashing with a razorblade. I recommend printing this part at high resolution so you get a better quality finish.
